The hard rule is that you are ineligible to visit if you served time there. The only person that can overrule that is the warden. We doubt seriously that the warden will even consider it. You are a security risk to the facility having been on the inside yourself.

This is a common occurrence and you will need to give some solid reasons for visitation privileges because the big rule for inmates is "no contact with known felons". You should address your crime, whatever the circumstances, you must show remorse and ask for them for forgiveness.
