How inmates reply without your home address

I want to write a letter to someone in Dawson county Texas, in preston e smith unit. I want them to receive the letter and reply. However, I dont want them to know my adress. How will the inmate be able to reply back if he doesn't have my address? Do they have access to this site in that jail? Thank you

If you want to stay private, InmateAid’s Response Service is exactly what you are looking for.

At facilities like Preston E. Smith Unit, inmates do not have internet access, so they cannot use this site directly. Everything is handled through regular mail.

Here is how it works:

  • Your letter is sent with the InmateAid return address, not your home address
  • The inmate writes back to that InmateAid address
  • InmateAid receives the letter, scans it, and uploads it to your account
  • You get an email notification when it is ready to view

Key benefits:

  • Your home address stays completely private
  • The inmate can reply normally using standard mail
  • You read the response online from anywhere

There is a small fee to retrieve scanned letters, but it is a simple and reliable way to communicate while protecting your personal information.
