what is the jail time for a felony gun possession?
My sons father was arrested for being in possession of a firearm and he's a felon. They were his dad's guns all registered to him legally. He was staying at his dad's . He has not been in trouble since 2002 and he successfully completed the 10 year probation after the safp. He was denied bond today because of the past charge and I need to know what amount of time could he be facing?

The mandatory minimum for a felony gun possession is five years.

The mandatory minimum for a felony gun possession is five years. Everyone that has been incarcerated knows 100% that they cannot be within 500 feet of an empty shell casing, much less with gun that belongs to someone else.
