Relationship Issues

if my inmate is working, why can't they pay for their own calls?

My question is if your in prison you are working why cant they pay for the phone calls they make they are the ones who got in trouble why should we have to pay along with our other problems in our everyday routines

That is a very good point, but there is another side to it.

That is a very good point, but there is another side to it. Inmates that have a job and do actually receive a "pay check", but their pay is miniscule. They make about 12 cents an hour on average. If the phone calls are several dollars each, there are not enough work hours to pay for all of the calls you'd like to get.  If you are mad at him and do not want to pay for the calls, you might not hear from him too often.

We have a service that will reduce the price, but you are the one that will have to take the inititiative. Maybe after some time passes and you soften up to him again, you can contact us to get an honest estimate of whether our Discount Plans can save you money.
