How long does it take for an inmate to get a money transfer?

I put money on an inmates books on Thursday and when he called today it said my credit card would be charged.why haven't the money gone through and how long does it usually take?

If it was sent through an approved online vendor, the exchange of funds to the inmate is instantaneous.
