how long can they hold a parolee that violated

My friend was arrested and he has a parole hold but we can't find out what it for nobody will tell us anything except he has a parole hold we can't get a hold of the Parole officer and he's been in jail for a month how long can they keep him with

They can keep him for as long as they wabt, related to the original sentence.

They can keep him for as long as they wabt, related to the original sentence. That is the downside of violating, going back and finishing out your remaining months.
