how long after you are booked can you make phone calls?

My boyfriend is in Yuma State Prison in San Luis AZ how long after you are booked into the prison can you begin to make phone calls? i have not heard anything about him since they transferred him from county to the Prison please help

Your inmate can make outbound calls setting up a service through the provider. InmateAid provides a local telephone number to make the calls cheaper. One other way is for the inmate to use calling cards bought at the commissary. Both ways may be beneficial using the InmateAid local line.
