how can i get a better understanding of what process a inmate will do if they have no strikes, and is not a violent affender, and is no longer active gang member

Not sure what you mean by "what process an inmate will do", and there are no prizes for not being in a gang or not being a violent offender. But if they are doing their time free of incident reports and adhering to the "programming" administered by their counselor, they will have it easier than those that buck the system. They will also be the first to get any extra time off their sentence if it comes available as it did during the pandemic.
