Prison Rumors & Jail Scams

Do inmates manipulate people (women) to send them money?

Three years ago i broke up with this guy, i still love him now i found out he been in prison a year ago. I wrote him a letter, we been sending each other love letter like he really want me back, but all this love talk he's talking he was'nt talking it before back then we on on drugs thingss are different now i am clean also he is too. Do you think he is just talking the jail house talk and do'nt really mean what he say to me , just to get some money on his books?

This is a question we get a lot because inmates have time on their hands and use the telephone and mail to manipulate people into getting them things they think they need. You will have to use your instincts and knowledge of this person's past behavior to really know if there is something real or not. You have to be careful not to try and do too much anyway but let your internal gut feeling guide you.
