Can inmates see your InmateAid account
I created an account on InmateAid and was wondering if my husband would be able to see it? I have never done this before and really want to speak with him.
No, your husband cannot see your InmateAid account.
Inmates do not have access to the internet, so anything you create or do on the website is private and only visible to you.
What InmateAid does is act as a bridge for communication and services. For example:
- When you send a letter or photos, they are printed and delivered by mail
- When you set up phone services, it helps lower the cost of calls he makes to you
- You can send books, magazines, and funds through approved channels
From his perspective, he will only see:
- The physical letter or photos you send
- The phone number he is calling
- Any items he receives through approved deliveries
He will not see your account, profile, or anything you set up online.
If your goal is to speak with him, the two main ways are:
- Wait for him to call you (you cannot call him directly)
- Send a letter so he knows how to reach you and when to call
You are on the right track, and once you start using the services, it becomes much easier to stay connected.
